Installation using the wineconsole by running SETUP.EXE is working fine.
The game starts perfectly and quickly, and the intro scene is rendered well and smooth (unlike in my previous test with 0.9.55).
The first level is fully playable.
The game protection is now working, so use a patch or a good copy :-/.
What does not
When lunching the game the sound works very well (vendor logo intro), but then the sound stop working completly (for both intro scene and first level), without even a buffer underrun error (as with 0.9.55).
After level is fully loaded (progress bar reached 100%), the game crash (see #13100).
Loading data is sometimes very slow, and sometimes even hang, but is globally faster than with 0.9.55. Seems only cdrom access is slow, but it's difficult to be 100% sure (maybe related to copy protection check).
What was not tested
Partial installation was not tested.
Use winecfg to force running SNTRM.EXE in win98 mode. Doing a full installation ensures quicker load times. I changed the rating from my first review, as only a very small fraction of the game is usuable.
