What works
Installing, launching the program (splash screen), navigation, options menu.
What does not
Opening an existing document shows a message box stating that "The specified template cannot be accessed. Please specify another template". Console output doesn't give any clue on the reason. Looking at those default template options, all of the template files are accessible by their corresponding file selection.
Creating a new document results in a different error message: "Cannot open file. Make sure the file is the correct type and version for the application and that you have read access.".

Since one can not create or open any document, the program is not useful to any real extent.
