Additional Comments

The game runs sped-up at refresh rates higher than 60Hz, so at higher refresh rates you'll want to install mfc42 to launch custom.exe and enable the frame limiter.

Initially music playback did not work, and installing dsound and directmusic in a test prefix, as suggested in bug report 13884, did not work. This turned out to be unnecessary, as STDOUT indicated I was missing gstreamer1.0-plugins-good:i386, and installing this resolved the issue altogether in an unmodified prefix.
