HOWTO

It is strongly recommended to use WIne version 0.9.15 or earlier.

To make the game work, do the following

  • If the game crashes when starting play, edit 'Config/GameSettings.cfg' in the directory where you installed the game, and set 'LandscapeHardware' to 0 (run the game first to generate it)
  • If you intend to play multiplayer, start 'winecfg' and add a DLL override so that 'Exe/S4_Main.exe' used native 'msvcrt' (this can be done with winecfg). msvcrt is installed with the game
