Maintainers: About Maintainership
What works
Most of the installation works, up to when the rebaseall script is run. From there, the installer hangs for ever (40+ minutes for me) with dash.exe and wineserver.exe both using a fair amount of CPU power. After aborting the installation, /bin/bash can be run, and several of the commands under /bin seem to work.
What does not
The installer doesn't finish.
Also, after every character is typed when running bash, the following message appears in the terminal:
01fc:fixme:sync:NtQueryDirectoryObject multiple entries not implemented
This makes using bash quite annoying, but it does work.
Workarounds
What was not tested
Everything else, as I couldn't get the installer to finish properly. In my experience, the rebase is needed for things to work reliably, so running further tests is probably not helpful at this point.
