What works
Most of the installation works, up to when the /etc/postinstall/0p_update-info-dir.bash script is run. From there, the installer hangs for ever) with dash.exe and wineserver.exe both using a fair amount of CPU power. After aborting the installation, /bin/bash can be run, and several of the commands under /bin seem to work.
Notably, this is different to when I tried the 32-bit version, as that got stuck during the rebase. I'll be trying to reliably reproduce these errors and report bugs.
What does not
The installer doesn't finish.
Also, after every character is typed when running bash, the following message appears in the terminal:
01fc:fixme:sync:NtQueryDirectoryObject multiple entries not implemented
This makes using bash quite annoying, but it does work.
Commands in bash are exiting with no output in the 64-bit version.
Workarounds
What was not tested
Everything else, as I couldn't get the installer to finish properly.
I am less familiar with the update-info-dir script, but I assume it not running could have caused plenty of these problems - I shall try and diagnose this.
