What works

The setup does not seem to work properly, while via the portable version you are able to launch the program. An error immediately appears at startup. Delving deeper, it appears to be a known problem with the 4.x.x versions of Paint.Net with Wine, where due to an incompatibility with Direct2D you cannot run the program. Some users modifying Wine modules, have in the past, run an earlier 4.x.x version. More details in the program's forum.

What does not

On Win7, 8, 10 and 11 the program works without any problem.

None of the provided setups work. Without installing, an official portable version is available.

What was not tested

Everything except setup and startup
