What works

Summary:  Intel Iris works like a some what lesser version of Nvidia in one respect and faster in a different way.  I tested Daz3D with an Apple MacBook Pro A1502 successfully, and Iray rendered with no problems.  DForce and glittering effects were not attempted.  No error messages came up.

1. Wine 7.13 was installed as Staging.  Only the default packages were used.  I did that after a fresh install of Linux Mint 21 Mate.  ClamAV and AppArmor were pre-installed before Wine.  It was an easy install with no configuration apart from choosing the type of Wine.

2. None of the extras for Daz3D were installed.  Hexagon was ignored, since it basically resembles a lesser similarity to Blender or any paid edition of a software package that can make a 3D object.  It could have a use, if Poser interests you.  It would make good sense only at that point.  All the downloaded packages silently installed with no error.  I had to restart the download queue after awaking my notebook system from accidentally entering sleep mode, but no progress was lost.  It was the best experience so far with the Install Manager.

3. I felt like installing and trying a game after finishing with Daz Studio and the Install Manager.  I cleaned up the .LNK files off from the Desktop and sent them to the Trash Bin, yet that caused both programs to not work any more from the actual icons.  I originally thought that me adding OpenGL packages to my system caused the break, but I proved my self wrong by simply reinstalling the Install Manager.  Both programs worked fine then, and DazCentral was added to the Desktop as an icon.

Again, the process was smooth.  5 out of 5 wine glasses.  I would do it again.
