What works

  1. installation
  2. start of imaris
  3. loading some example data

What does not


  • when stacksize is unlimited, wine crashed
  • when opening some example files, imaris crashed - (wine error output says "function is no-op")
  • running wine on a remote machine with debian11, and connecting through "ssh -X " fails because vulkan is broken (https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bi...). this is not a problem when running on a local machine


Workarounds

* limiting stack size with "ulimit -s 655360"

* compiling mesa (v22.1.7) and wine from source.
