Additional Comments

• When trying to run imaris through wine on a remote machine(connected with ssh -X  , or x2go, or vnc), there were some issues, thatsome elements of the data are not visible, and graphics artifacts appear. However, this was most likely not related to wine itself, but the graphics stack used. (see bug https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bi..., compiled mesa/22.2 and wine from source) but graphics stack (x11, was not recompiled on server). 

• The WINEDEBUG log shows the error
     "Pixmap::fromWinHICON(), failed to GetIconInfo() (Invalid cursor handle.)"
  which does not appear with wine-staging
