What works

The installer can be started.

I tested both, the Debug and the Release version with the same result.

What does not

The installer complains that the Windows version is not recent enough.

Changing to windows10 (winecfg -v win10) did not help.

Workarounds

What was not tested

Trying to use it.

Additional Comments

The change log (of the earlier version 0.9.0.0) says that :

"The change lExAllocatePool2 function is used for memory allocation. This implies the

driver can work on Windows 10 x64, version 2004 and later."

I can not say whether the installer is checkeing for the lExAllocatePool2 or the Windows version.

HowTo / Notes

consider using usbip on the host system instead

based on the discussion here [1], one should consider using usbip on the host system, instead of usbip-win.
