Very little differs from the released version of KOTOR v1.00 and it's patch 1.03 as it's patch consists of fixes to the game itself.

Additional Comments

Tested with both amdgpu and radeon drivers = same results *** In certain maps game will begin to lag noticeably, especially when outside on Dantooine. The way to fix this is to edit swkotor.ini and under [Graphics Options] add the following line: Disable Vertex Buffer Objects=1 Additionally, the game will freeze and crash about 1 in a 50 times when transitioning between maps. I have not found a solution to this, except to save frequently. On a one or two odd occasions the game went totally black and froze my system. There is a chance Soft Shadows and Frame Buffer Effects will be grayed out in the configuration options, but you can fix this in swkotor.ini Also, unlike previous comments here, game works just fine in full screen and can be easily patched by uniws for a widescreen resolution. (you should also try to obtain HUD widescreen fixes)
