What works

Everything except whats listed below.

What does not

cutscene video is played at less than 1 frame/s. Exceptionally large screen resolutions (> 1024x768) fail to show any graphics at all. The intro movies only play if set to 640x480 or less, but I think this is normal. Any focus changes cause the game input to be permanently lost (mouse, keyboard, joystick untested).

Every frame during the cutscenes, the console reports:
err:mcicda:MCICDA_CalcTime Out of range value 0 [150,342157]

The problem appears to be the timing measurements the game does to stay in sync with the CD track. They are giving the the wrong track number to the MCICDA module, thus inducing a sort of timeout every frame.

HowTo / Notes

Disable window manager controlling in winecfg
Please disable (untick) the "Allow the window manager to control the windows" option in winecfg. It can be found under the "Graphics" settings. If you don't disable it, the game might not go to the fullscreen mode.
