The NEURON Simulator

What works

* the installer runs

* nrniv.exe does start and provides a command line prompt. Simple Hoc syntax does run. (e.g. a=4)

What does not

• the GUI-based version (neuron.exe) does not run. 
• the command line version fails to execute the hoc example script ( wine nrniv.exe  ../test0.hoc )
• the command line version fails to execute the python example script ( wine nrniv.exe  ../test0.py )

Workarounds

What was not tested

• no advanced computation
• running real simulations
