What works

On a 32 bit wine prefix, everything I've tried except for some menu apects (notably the layers menu) and the 3d view.

Licensing the app through the online form works properly.

Finding and installing the post processor for your machine works properly.

What does not

Application will not start at all in a 64 bit wine prefix.

Certain menus do not properly work. In the layers menu, you cannot hide/unhide layers by clicking the light bulb.

The 3d view is corrupted.

Workarounds

Install the application in a clean 32 bit wine prefix.

In order to fix the layers menu, comctl32 needs to be installed. I used winetricks to install it.

In order to fix the 3d view, vcrun2019 needs to be installed. I used winetricks to install it.

What was not tested

I believe I tested most functions, but I am not an expert in the application, so I may have missed something.

Additional Comments

In order for everything to work properly, this is what I did. An up to date winetricks can accomplish all of the following.

1. Install into a clean 32 bit wine prefix.

2. Install comctl32 into the newly created prefix.

3. Install vcrun2019 into the newly created prefix.

As a side note, I had to update winetricks to get it to install vcrun2019. The command 'sudo winetricks --self-update' (without quotes) did the trick for me. Read and understand the prompts when running this command, as it changes how the package is handled by your distribution.
