Aliens Versus Predator 2

What works

The game, updater, and direct X all install. The cut scenes play well. Everything in the game looks as it should (at least during the first few seconds of play). Sound works on the "launch" screen.

What does not

Sound once in game (compiled without oss). Mouse movement - extremely choppy. Almost (but definitely not) playable with "mouse smoothing" turned all the way up.

Could not get the updater to actually update the game (perhaps there are just no active servers though).

Sound (with oss use flag). Joystick (if this works, then maybe the game is "playable"). Playing the game past a few seconds.

All in all it's really just a mouse issue (and maybe sound). If there is a simple fix or workaround we could be back in business.
