Version: 10.78 Everything seems to work so far. I haven't tested everything, but I did test a campaign mission and a multiplayer game. The launcher works, the campaign seems to work, and multiplayer seems to work, including the ability to serve a game. Although the process of starting the launcher in the required way to avoid crashing it is a little annoying. It is also possible to play LAN games. So far, I have been able to make a windows computer be the server and I was able to join that server. However, I have so far been unsuccessful in making my linux computer a LAN server.
What does not
Hosting a LAN server. When you attempt to join a LAN game, Netstorm is supposed to start R.exe when it detects that there is no server on the network. This does not happen under Wine. It is possible to start R.exe yourself under Wine via the terminal, and you can join your server. However, nobody else can join it, rendering it useless. If you want to have a LAN game, you must have a Windows machine on your network to be the LAN server. Unless somebody else can figure out how to allow a Linux machine to so so.
What was not tested
Most of the campaign missions. Most of the multiplayer game types.Campaign creator.
The process of starting the launcher to enable yourself to play multiplayer on the online server is a bit annoying. However, this game is very fun and addicting and the process is worth it.
