The command-line version (quartus_sh.exe) works mostly. It is possible to generate tcl scripts by hand, or to use scripts generated by the GUI, and then the quartus_sh command can be used.
What does not
The (InstallShield) installer does not work. You can take the files from an installed copy on Windows, and copy the registry entries.
The GUI does not work.
The mapper (the second stage of the compiler) fails with an internal assertion message.
What was not tested
The online help is based on standard windows help files and is accessible from the GUI, and probably would work.
Various wizards are also only accessible from the GUI, and could not be tested.
Many versions of Quartus require the use of a dongle for licensing, which was not tested.
Better than with wine 0.9 which would not allow Quartus to start at all, but still not there yet.
