What works

I have gotten it installed easily and it seems to work fairly well in Wine 8.02 under Linux Miint 21.2 Cinnamon.

What does not

I have started experimenting with moving to Linux Mint 21.2 and

running Superbase under wine.  Overall, it seems to run well
including launching 64 bit wine versions of the other programs
mentioned above.  However, one issue I am having is with Superbase's
internal program editor which is a tokenizing editor and uses IBM
extended ASCII (I believe Codepage 437).  In Windows 10 the
tokenized programs in the program editor look fine with color coding
for commands, variables etc but in wine the code looks scrambled and
makes it impossible to edit code, something I am frequently doing.

I am looking for a solution to this issue.

Workarounds

What was not tested

Superbase is a very complex program.  The programs I have written and use exploit only a portion of its capabilities.
