What works

Reading text from clipboard, changing reading speed, installing additional voices, always being on-top.

What does not

Did not work:

• Reading text by selecting and then press the play button.
• Reading text by selecting. (with the setting to read automatically when releasing the mouse button enabled)
• Read aloud when typing.
• Keyboard shortcuts for pausing and stopping.
• OCR.
• Minimizing.

Workarounds

Installer could not install dependencies correctly and failed if they were not already installed. 

Installed before running installation:

• .NET Framework 4.5.2
• Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package (x86)
• Visual C++ 2012 Redistributable Package (x86)

What was not tested

Updating, and MS Word specific features.

Hardware tested

Graphics:

• GPU: Intel
• Driver: open source

Additional Comments

Usable if all you need is to be able to read text that you can copy to clipboard.
