Additional Comments

This how-to worked for me with wine 0.9.6 and anstoss 3 from the Gamestar cover-cd:

1.) Mount the Anstoss 3 CD (Gamestar version)
2.) Install via "wine /your/cdrom/setup.exe"
3.) Change into the directory you installed the game in. (Default ~/.wine/drive_c/Program Files/ANSTOSS 3)
4.) Start the setup program: "wine SGLSetup.exe"
5.) Choose "Standard-Einstellungen ohne 3D-Darstellung" to disable the 3D game sequences.
6.) run "winecfg" and enable the OSS-plugin (I did have very choppy sound with alsa). Make sure that only the OSS-Plugin is enabled, otherwise the game will crash.
7.) Start the game with "wine anstoss3.exe"

I just noticed, that I can play this version without the cd mounted, so the copy protection is most likely removed for this version of the game. This would explain why other versions (the original retail version) don't work.
