What works
It installs and opens correctly, the main features seem to have worked, though I haven't tested much. I have been able to open some example projects, and everything seemed to work, including the simulations involving 3d graphics.
What does not
The license does not activate. It requires the user to paste the key and contacts a server to activate it. However, it fails to validate. These are the errors shown in the terminal at the moment it fails. winedbg cannot launch the app. I've confirmed it works on a native Windows 10 installation.

Additional Comments
It seems that this kind of problem happens with other commercial applications too, but I lack the knowledge to solve it. Maybe someone more seasoned than me should be able to figure it out. If all you need is to open your colleague's project, it seems to be great.
