HowTo / Notes

HOWTO
Do you get an error "There is not enough memory or disk space to run Word Viewer." ?
If so, then this probably means that it can't load a locale DLL:
It tries to load MSV7ENU.DLL, since it assumes English locale.
I guess you've got a different viewer version, so you should
export LANG=XXXXX
accordingly before starting wine, e.g. de_DE, en_US, fr_FR, da_DK and so on (as can be found at e.g. /etc/locale.gen)
Hang on installation?

Installation only seems to hang!

During install the setup seems to hang when "searching for installed components"
Just get yourself a coffee and let it alone. Setup will continue.
