What works

• Login and license registration
• Clip Studio Asset login and downloads
• Story/Page/Comic management and import/export
• Animation management, timeline and import/export
  • Audio sync issues also present in Windows version
  • use similar workarounds to windows or edit audio in different program
• Clip Studio 3D Material Modeler material import
  • Material Modeler can be found further down on the same download page as Clip Studio Paint
  • must be in the same wine prefix as Clip Studio Paint
• Kindle Create & Preview should also be installed in the same prefix
  • Export multi page projects from CSP before launching either

What does not

• Clip Studio services tabs:
  • Manage materials, organize works, or sync to the cloud can only be done in the Launcher
  • Clip Studio Launcher Settings>Maintenance Menu>Materials/Works
• Window focus or Tablet issues:
  • Known issue that also occurs on Windows. Caused by how CSP handles compositing and USB devices
  • Unplug any game controllers or additional USB mice
  • Switching Clip Studio Preferences>Tablet to Service>Wintab or Coordination>Mouse Mode may help

Workarounds

To fix crashing:

• apply/use concrt140 libraries in winecfg
• install corefonts with winetricks 
  • clip studio may run fine until you start editing text then freeze up or crash
  • attempts to use fonts not install in the wine prefix may also freeze the program
• if winecfg is set to Win10 try switching to 8.1 or 7

IF blackscreen and no canvas displayed: (should not happen)

• apply/use dxvk in winecfg or with winetricks
