Rhapsody.com is the online version of Rhapsody, providing access to basic playback and playlist capabilities from a web browser (non-IE).
Everything apears to work in this version of rhapsody except a problem with logins:
A native wininet.dll is required to make rhapsody fully work. Nothing else windows related is required.
What does not
wininet is required for login
Logins require wininet.dll to function properly--once you have wininet.dll you have to set the configuration in winecfg under the tab libraries to add an existing overide:
wininet (native, builtin)
Even with this DLL you will get:
Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library Runtime Error!
Program C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe
-pure virtual function call
Minimize this error and enjoy, it runs fine with the error. If you click ok it will close firefox and rhapsody.
What was not tested
I have not tested playlist functions -- I just play music by picking so I am not sure if all that works. It needs to be tested more.
I think this is the best way to currently run rhapsody.
