If you bought VEGAS Pro 18 and you wanted to use that copy that you purchased, you can't. Unfortunately the only way to get around the installer is to have a pirated copy of the software. The installer for the legally obtained copy shows a blank error message and you cannot go further.
This test was performed on my main desktop PC with a legally obtained/purchased copy of VEGAS Pro 18.
