Importing images
SVG files aren't supported in CC 2019. You can import vector graphics as .EPS, .AI, or .EMF, do note that these types do not support SVG filters. Otherwise export your graphics as PNG.

What does not

Exporting as PDF (print) crashes the program. PDF (interactive) works fine.

Creating a new document does not work.

Drag-and-drop also does not work.

Workarounds

Create a new document by doing Document Presets -> [Default]. Afterward you can adjust document settings.

Use Place (CTRL+D) instead of drag-and-drop.
