What works

For Photoshop version 25.9.0.573

Once you copy the files from windows or a vm as per the 2023 instructions it pretty much works well with a few caveats.

1. all basic editing works
2. saving and exporting works.
3. not too much jitter when maneuvering the UI
4. drag and drops works

What does not

GPU support is a no go, no matter the steps taken or installed verbs it will not work.

1. with stock wine you cannot use the liquify tool when the gpu is enabled, causes a hard freeze as the stock wine is missing the VK-Child window patch, wine-tkg can get around that.
2. The remove tool wont work, it keeps saying "required components are being downloaded che

Workarounds

as stated above, if you want to use liquify WITH gpu enabled you must use wine-tkg

What was not tested

Firefly AI or any neural filters
