Workarounds

Rekordbox 6 detects wine and refuses to start if it is detected. Open winecfg, Staging tab and enable "hide wine version". This is no longer required in rekordbox 7.

Some component in Rekordbox 6.8.4 crashes when starting the application. This will display an "Unexpected application error" window. Do not close this window or press the ok button, as this will quit the main app. Just ignore the warning box and keep using rekordbox as usual. Alternatively Rekordbox 7 does not have this issue.

Install like this:

Create new wineprefix e.g in Lutris (default settings).

Install RekordBox (do not start application yet).

Open winecfg, staging, activate hide wine version.

To get external USB Drive export working:

Use patched wine from https://github.com/jpf91/proto... (refer to https://bugs.winehq.org/show_b...)

Open regedit, import the usb_final.reg file from https://bugs.winehq.org/show_b...

Create the symlink for the r drive:
