both installation types work (warning at 99% (full installation) that the levelm.vpp doesn't match the cab-file... this has at least no effect on the following problem of starting the game, because I also tried with windows-installation)
What does not
starting up the game, it throws out this error:
Error: No Direct3D devices found!
File: C:\aux_projects\SUMMONER\pccode\vsdk\gr\directx\gr_direct3d.cpp - Line: 1016
A critical error has occured and the program cannot continue.
This is somehow strange, because the folder "aux_projects" and the following don't exist. The terminal doesn't seem to give any useful information.
Maybe this error is somehow connected with the directx-implementation of wine since Summoner was made for directX 7/8. I didn't test it with an older wine-version yet.
What was not tested
Needless to say that i could'n test the game by itself.
also tested with version 1.4 and windows-installations, same thing
