Mouse can be made to work with the 'mass effect' mouse hack bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=16822.
What does not
Bug 6971 still applies - "Mouse "escapes" window or is confined to an area in the full screen program"
Without this bug, I'd probably rate this as gold, since my only other problem can be turned off in the in-game graphics options.

Additional Comments
There is often an annoying stutter when entering a new room, despite the framerate being otherwise very smooth indeed with all the graphics options turned up to 11 on my HD 4870 graphics card. Turning the 'bump mapping detail' setting to off makes that go away. I've not had any thread deadlocks with this version.

You can use the Lutris script if you don't want to go through the hassle of setting up your own Wine Prefix for the software. It assumes the GOG version, but I'm sure it works with any version.
