Playing SWAT4 over LAN, including the Stetchkov Syndicate Expansion
What does not
Install from CD does not work, because the installer does not find the second CD when inserted.
My workaround: Copy all the data from the two CDs into one folder on your hard disk. Then install from that folder using wine 1.1.34. The installer will crash after having installed, but it did install. The patch to version 1.1 and the Stetchkov Syndicate Expansion can be installed from CD directly using wine 1.1.34.
In some versions of wine, sometimes, one can not turn around because the cursor hits the edge of the screen. Doing a right click lets you turn further. But in wine 1.4 this problem did not occur for me.
When starting SWAT, i was told sometimes to insert an original CD instead of a copy, though my CD was original. For the Stetchkov Syndicate Expansion however this message has never shown up.
What was not tested
only playing coop and training mode was tested.

You can use the Lutris script if you don't want to go through the hassle of setting up your own Wine Prefix for the software. It assumes the GOG version, but I'm sure it works with any version.
