Desperados: Wanted Dead or Alive

What works

• Installation.
• Starting the demo level.
• The cutscene at the beginning.
• Regular Gameplay.
• Quick-Saves (F5) and Quick-Loads (F8) during gameplay.
• Loading from the pause menu.
• Playing through the end.
• Proper text and colour for in-game hints and indications like negative (i.e. loss of) HP.
• Sounds and music.

What does not

• Restoring the application if it gets minimized when running Wine in virtual-desktop mode.
• The game window gets auto-minimized on switching of workspaces (bug #37937). There is no problem in restoring it though.
• There is a delay after loading a saved game. (Bug #39513).

Workarounds

• To prevent the game window from auto-minimizing when changing of workspace, run the game in Wine's virtual-desktop mode. Be warned however that you might not be able to restore the game window if it happens to get minimized.
• There is a patch in comment #20 of the bug report (#39513) which is able to get rid of the delay.

What was not tested

• Everything else.
