What works
As of version 0.9.39 everything tested works, including the Kad network for indefinate amounts of time.
What does not
eMule's built-in ping functionality requires root privileges, however not having it doesn't matter much.
There is also still some bugginess in the search bar, where entered text will not go into the search field after a search has been queried. To work around this, go to another tab and then come back.
Workarounds
What was not tested
The webserver was not tested. Users have reported problems with remotely accessing the webserver in the past, so it's possible this is still an issue.

Sometimes you can enter text into the search tab but be unable to change it, even though a blinking cursor will be there.
Switching to another tab on the eMule window and coming back to the "Search" tab will return the input field into a usable state, and cut/paste functionality will still work regardless.
