The programs are largely functional.
The unRAR function is redundant with later versions of Linux as the built-in archive program works faster and just as well.
The unPAR function continues to be more or less useful
What does not
The archive repair process crashes. Usually with messages about inability to access files. It may or may not have worked. But it did generate a PAR2 batch file that that can be copied to run with PAR2 -
wine par2.exe [the command you copied from the batch file]
For some reason that always works - go figure.
What was not tested
The included concatinator program. The function to decode "yenc" encoded files as it isn't needed
