Additional Comments

Install 1.3.36: Was excruciatingly slow, and the installer took about 10 minutes to even pop up. This may/may not be related to something else I was doing. Anyway, I killed the install, set a virtual desktop, and restarted. Still sluggish, but much better. Other issues during install was that I had to manually mount/unmount the cd's. Automounting would flake out. Install 1.4-rc6: Reinstalled to a 32-bit wineprefix due to Broken World installer not working in 64-bit environment. I still mounted the cd's manually/virtual desktop/everything went much smoother then I remembered the first time I installed. winetricks: * mfc42 (required for the installer) * directplay (required for multiplayer)

1. Download the native mfc42.dll and place it in ~/.wine/drive_c/windows/system32/

2. Install it using the command

wine Setup.exe

(Make sure that you properly described your cd-rom letter in the winecfg---> drives button) 

2b. If you have for e.g. 4CD version and have problems with installation process (installer don't recognizes second cd in the drive) try to copy all 4 CD into one folder and then install. It installs but there can be some errors with game's working.

Another way is to make CD images and then push the install button.

3. Open up your terminal and use the command and type in Dunegon Siege 2 game folder

wine DungeonSiege2.exe

and you are ready to play.

When the intro video's(Microsoft games, dungeon siege 2 etc.) don't work fluently, try to return to the desktop and shut down some no needed process's.
