Starting a singleplayer game there are some shader issues which are still not solved so shaders are forced to be turned off. You can play the whole singleplayer game without any bugs noticed.

­Multiplayer through installing directplay using winetricks.

What does not

Shaders dont work they produce artifacts on the ground  no slowdowns through just ground artifacts like what was found in other tests. Everything works in the game best results i have found using wine :)

Everything in the game was throughly tested i replayed this game because I haven played it in awhile.

Additional Comments

1. Download the native mfc42.dll and place it in ~/.wine/drive_c/windows/system32/

2. Install it using the command

wine Setup.exe

(Make sure that you properly described your cd-rom letter in the winecfg---> drives button) 

2b. If you have for e.g. 4CD version and have problems with installation process (installer don't recognizes second cd in the drive) try to copy all 4 CD into one folder and then install. It installs but there can be some errors with game's working.

Another way is to make CD images and then push the install button.

3. Open up your terminal and use the command and type in Dunegon Siege 2 game folder

wine DungeonSiege2.exe

and you are ready to play.

When the intro video's(Microsoft games, dungeon siege 2 etc.) don't work fluently, try to return to the desktop and shut down some no needed process's.
