Indexing if Windows native query.dll is used (is useless if run directly after install. Must close down Google Desktop and launch it again and indexing works fine) .
Searching the desktop after indexing is complete or while in progress.
What does not
Preferences (from Google Desktop webpage or by right clicking on Google Desktop icon in system tray) - launches a blank page.
If Google Desktop is launched and Preferences are selected then the orginal web browser that launches is closed, no other web browsers will connect to localhost unless Google Desktop is exited and relaunched.
What was not tested
I call this a bronze because I am able to search my desktop. The only thing that isn't working currently is sidebar and sidebar add-ins.
