What does not
game crashes on closing (use a virtual desktop)
(only flaw I saw: sometimes you see the refresh happening, if you move the mouse over e.g. a button).
What was not tested
Multi player games.
Installation worked only this way: 1. Switch to Windows 98. 2. Install MSI2 with winetricks (http://wiki.winehq.org/winetricks). 3. Switch to emulated desktop, e.g. 1024x768. 4. Run the setup (you even see all buttons labled correctly). You need to be patient with some dialogues. Some buttons can be clicked with the mouse, others need to be navigated to by pressing TAB and activated by ENTER. You won't be able to choose a install path, so make sure you use a wine prefix (a good idea anyway). 5. Patch the game (http://dlh.net/cgi-bin/pat.cgi?search=battle%20realms) to 1.50q. Now have fun, you can play again.
