Installation (with some errors)
Starting the game
What does not
The graphics are completely garbled.
Only half of the intro movie displayed (if split diagonally from top left to bottom right). The game menu and game itself seemed to have similar issues.
What was not tested
Playing the game
With the dlls from the howto the game will start, however the graphics are completely garbled. I managed to start a skirmish game as the hover text from menus is visible and this proceeded without crashing. In game elements had similar visual defects as the intro movie and game menu.

Place the DLLs in this archive
in Wine's windows/system32 directory. Then, start winecfg and add dll
overrides (native, builtin) for the following DLLs: dplayx, dpnet,
dpnhpast and dpwsockx.
After that, update your Wine registry by running 'regsvr32 dpnet.dll'.
