Silent Hill 2

Gamepad input tested with dualshock 2 usb adapter, left analog stick movies but right analog stick does nothing. 

For audio that does not loop or badly stutter, run winetricks dsdmo directmusic. Then if running a dual core cpu, load the silent hill 2 exe with schedtool -a 0x1 -e wine sh2pc.exe to start it on only the first cpu. 

This was tested in a new 32bit wine prefix with variables WINEARCH=win32 WINEPREFIX=~/.wine/silenthill2.

​Forcing the game to use a single cpu is required in both linux and windows to fix sound looping problems. I'm giving this a gold rating because Wine compatibility appears strong, but bugs in the game itself may prevent you from being able to play. Tested on the following hardware ------------------------------------------ * VGA compatible controller: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. [AMD/ATI] Kaveri [Radeon R4 Graphics] * Driver: xf86-video-ati 1:7.9.0-1 * CPU: AMD A6-7000 Radeon R4, 5 Compute Cores 2C+3G * cpu MHZ: 1100.000 (only processor 0, because silent hill 2 can't utilize both cpus) * RAM: 3.5 Gigabytes

Please when submit results add hardware specs like as: cpu - mount of ram - videocard and videocard driver used

Remember another versions different to vanilla wine or wine staging dont accepted by wine in submited results
