The program installs and runs. I can go through the Setup Wizard to configure the SlingPlayer until the end, at which point it fails (see below). While running the setup wizard I have both video and audio. Also while running the setup wizard, at the stage where they ask you to click a button marked "power" to see if you can control my DVR, it does properly turn off the DVR.
What does not
At the end of the setup configuration when I have the setup confirmation and click "next" to save the settings, I get an error. I get two dialog boxes that say "Internal Application Error" in succession, followed by a dialog box that says "Command failed." When I try to connect to my Slingbox the next time it says I have to go through the setup again. Some information was nonetheless saved -- the password I created, the fact that I'm using an S-video input, the fact that I'm using a DVR, and if I recall correctly, the fact that it is a Motorola DVR, but the model number was not saved.
What was not tested
Since I was not able to finish the setup routine, I could not test actually using the Slingbox, either locally or remotely.
I have a Slingbox AV.
