What works

I ran the launcher with no problem and began the install. Everything seemed to be alright. When the installer went full screen it hung, this being the last error:

fixme:x11drv:X11DRV_SetWindowRgn not supported on other thread window 0x2002c
fixme:x11drv:X11DRV_SetWindowRgn not supported on other thread window 0x2002c

I had to kill the process GetKey.exe, and this allowed the installer to continue.

The installation finished, and the DirectX update started, but failed with an "Internal Error."

I had to find and copy fusion.dll and MSVCR70.dll to the system32 folder to get DirectX to begin installing properly (running the install from the cd). The installation then crashes:

Additional Comments

Like others trying to install it, I can only deduce that DirectX 9 seems to be the problem.

mscoree.dll dependency issue
by Troy Rollo on Saturday March 17th 2007, 20:59
The main executable (sweaw.exe) exits after calling "GetModuleHandleA" on "mscoree.dll" and receiveing a null handle back.
d3dx9_27.dll - Located

I was getting this error as well. It can be fixed by installing DirectX from the SW:EAW disc. After you do that, the DLL should be in the system32 folder.

However, I am still getting an error on mss32.dll, saying that it can't be found, despite it's existing in the appropiate. Going to try the deshrinker, and if that doesn't work, downloading the DLL from a website.

(Using Wine 9.23 in case it doesn't say on here)
