What works
Everything with the extra steps mentioned in extra comments.
What does not
The mouse is slow, but I can run everything with keyboard and joystick without problems.
The Joystick (Sidewinder 3D Pro plus) is not correctly mapped in axis, so rotation is mapped to speed control and hud to roll. Behind that all buttons are configurable and recognized, and main joystick movements works fine.

With wine out of the box installs and run, but a bug in sounds and videos makes them to don't show. Also when entering in comm dialog game hangs (as described in a bug I've post about). So after reading some articles I have made two steps. First installed winetricks with option all codecs. With only that seems that no diference in the results. So I followed some steps to install active movie as is described in this page: http://howto.landure.fr/gnu-linux/install-directx-9-0c-on-linux-using-wine Note that only the Active Movie installation was made and then the game videos, voices and comms worked fine, no more crashes. Enjoy.
