Installing (as Win2000) works fine. Running (as Win98) works fine. I chose to not index anything but files, and removed all index targets except for the drives pointing to $HOME and /store.
Searching and indexing works just as fast and reliable as in Windows.
Tip: Exclude $HOME/.wine, and the fake c-drive will not be indexed two or three times...
What does not
Previewing files needs a working installed Mozilla ActiveX Plug-in to function: http://gentoo-wiki.com/HOWTO_Install_and_update_World_Of_Warcraft_with_wine#Installing_Active_X_for_the_new_Patchsystem
Also, sending error reports did not work automatically from within the program, but this could be more a bug with the installed IE than CDS itself.
The trayicon-menu will not disappear once shown. Avoid this menu as it will stay on top of all other windows and desktops once shown.
What was not tested
Indexing other things than files.
Gold with working Mozilla ActiveX plug-in
