I finally made progress: The program starts and you can write text.
What does not
You can't use SCIM/SKIM for input of Japanese characters, you have to copy text from another text editor in VoJ, also you can't use the text to speech engine. Another thing that bothers me is that the font wine uses doesn't support many of tha japanese characters, there are only squares displayed where kanji should be.
The issue with the sound output may be caused by this error message:
ALSA lib seq_hw.c:456:(snd_seq_hw_open) open /dev/snd/seq failed: No such file or directory
(but I don't know how to solve this)
What was not tested
Other IME platforms for writing japanese characters.
To get it starting I copied the two DLLs "riched20.dll" and "riched32.dll" from a Windows Installation in the windows/system32 directory of wine and registered it with "regsvr32"
