versions 6.5 and 6.6 at lest. Close to the current version of Caligari Truespace (7 going on 8)
Everything that's been tested in software mode, you can model, texture, render, animate. All the main features seem to work.
What does not
Opengl/Directx modes. Opengl mode works with a caveat. the app is not drawing 2d/3d correctly, the opengl surface is appearing on top of the 2d tools it's just layer ordering that seems to be broken, if you click on the tools even though you can't see them they still work.
Directx/direct3d mode is totally broken and attempting to switch to it results in the app saying it cannot and switches to wireframe instead.
Opengl's layering problem NEEDS to be fixed, I can't stress this enough, once it's drawing properly modelling/animation/texturing will for all purposes/intents be the same as on windows, The big thing holding this app back is not being able to use the opengl mode to view the object as a solid/transparent solid/wireframe. Software mode only draws objects as wireframe the opengl mode adds a ton of usability.
What was not tested
a lot of things , but everything I tried out works, I make a model boolean joined it together animated it and gave it a texture.
For the purposes of modelling this package is almost feature complete the biggest issue is the opengl layering problem if that get's fixed then this app will be ready for serious use.
