Workarounds

Resolutions higher than 640x480 work if the DirectDraw renderer is switched to GDI by setting HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Wine\Direct3D\DirectDrawRenderer to "gdi". Unfortunately, this causes the in-game right pane to experience mouse cursor ghosting.

Trying to host or join a multiplayer game results in an error message shown by the game, and the following messages being printed by Wine :
