Menu, playing the game (with some problems)
The installer need to be opened with the "SETUP.EXE" because the popup menu (autorun.exe) shows up but crashes before you can select anything.
What does not
Sneak and other 2d menus still have a huge slow down in "normal" resolutions and rendering settings. Even when the rendering is set to DirectX software render (instead of DD HAL) and the lowest resolution you can chose it still "laggs" behind a lot. It is a noticeable delay between the key stoke and when the game register it.
Sometimes it even skips the input in the 2d menus. (You have to tap the key twice to get it to register) This gets worse in higher res and rendering options.
When I for example tried to choose the level of the AI in the "fight sim" (the one i Kayls apartment) it wouldn't let me choose or exit the menu in higher resolutions. It's even nearly impossible to exit the sneak sometimes because of this.
The intro videos do still not work for me (the ones that are played before the game takes you to the menu), they are skipped.
If 3d sound is selected the music or sound only comes out of one speaker. Depending on where the sound source are the output changes speakers. (Just tic of that option in the menu and it's back to normal)
When changing res or rendering options ingame the menus sometimes becomes white and the text may become corrupted. But when you move from the 2d menus back to the game it turns back to normal.
What was not tested
Completing the game.
I would like to point out again that everything but the 2d menus works/runs like it did for me in windows. (I.e I can choose DD HAL and i high resolution and still play the game with smooth and glitch free graphics) So the only thing that makes this get a bronze rating is that the 2d menus are terribly slow and unresponsive. (The rest of the problems do not have a big impact on the game)

Safedisc won't let you launch the game unless you apply THIS fixed exe.
This is delivered as a US no-cd patch but it should work for all versions, and others cracks simply don't work because they require some unimplemented kernel32 functions.
