Game installs, although some pop-ups that you have to click on appear in the background, so you have to alt-tab them to foreground. You have to use a no-CD crack and one CD still has to be in CD drive for a game to work. Sound is not perfect, but it works. When I turned off 3D sound in options, sound improved a bit. I didn't have to disable PulseAudio mixer (and even Compiz surprisingly is not making problems for this game). Video works with all 3 available game engines, but there are problems. I have a widescreen 1280x800 pixels laptop and the picture is as it should be only in native resolution when I use HAL DirectDraw engine, in all other resolutions I have a large black horizontal stripe in the cutscenes on the top of the screen, so important subtitles on the bottom of the screen are not visible. I think that people with 4:3 screens should not be affected with this problem.
What does not
There is a big bug with the rendering of 2D text, such as subtitles and texts in menues, which makes them practicaly unreadable. The bug is not manifested only if software rendering is used, but then you will have to do with poorer screen resolution and, as I've said, no widescreen support. There are also some rendering problems, especially in melee combat, but nothing game-breaking. Separate utility for setting graphic options does not work, so you have to set them manually in game and you have to do it every time since the game doesn't seem to memorise them.

Safedisc won't let you launch the game unless you apply THIS fixed exe.
This is delivered as a US no-cd patch but it should work for all versions, and others cracks simply don't work because they require some unimplemented kernel32 functions.
